Who we are
Hearwick Hearing Clinic is an independent hearing clinic at 14 Weaver’s Row, Shrewsbury ZZ1 4HW. You can reach us at hello@hearwick.example or 01632 960 274.
What we collect
When you book or ask a question we collect your name, contact details and anything you tell us about your hearing. At appointments we record your medical history, audiogram, test results and the details of any hearing aids we fit. This is health data, and we treat it with extra care.
The online hearing check
The online check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and your result are not sent to us or stored anywhere. If you choose to book afterwards, only the result band you see (for example “Some difficulty”) is carried into the booking form, and you can change or remove it before sending.
How we use it
To provide your care, fit and maintain hearing aids, remind you about follow-ups and yearly tests, and, with your consent, write to your GP. If you sign up for our emails, we send one a season.
Who we share it with
Your GP or another clinician, only with your consent or where your safety requires it; hearing-aid manufacturers, for repairs and warranty claims, with the serial number and fitting data only; and our accountants. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Clinical records are kept for at least eight years after your last appointment, as health-records guidance expects. Email sign-ups end the moment you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your records, ask us to correct them, or object to how we use your data, by writing to hello@hearwick.example. You can also complain to the data protection regulator.
