Two audiologists opened Hearwick in 2011 because they wanted to spend longer with each patient than a high-street chain allowed. It is still owned by the people who test you.
Why independence matters to you
We choose from several makers
Chains owned by a manufacturer tend to fit that manufacturer’s aids. We pick from several, on your hearing, your fingers, your eyesight and what you want to hear better.
Nobody sets us a sales target
About a third of the people we test leave without hearing aids, because they do not need them yet. We would rather see you again in two years than sell you something early.
You see the same faces
Three audiologists, one reception desk. The person who fits your aids is the one who adjusts them at six weeks and tests you again next year.

Twenty years in NHS and private audiology before opening Hearwick. Runs the tinnitus clinic and most first fittings.

Specialises in in-the-ear fittings and hearing for musicians. Takes the Wednesday evening clinic.

Joined in 2019. Ear wax removal, aftercare and anyone who wants the technology explained twice, patiently.
